John Steven Ravnik Obit

JOHN STEVEN RAVNIK, 75 of Prescott, AZ, passed away Oct. 27, 2024 in Phoenix, AZ from a massive stroke. He was born on Aug. 29, 1949 in Crosby to John and Elizabeth (Sabyan) Ravnik. He graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School, Central Lakes College in Brainerd, and attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Deciding that Minnesota weather was not to his liking, John moved to Colorado and then to Arizona. He was the ultimate optimist and had a zest and joy for life. Besides being an avid reader, John enjoyed motorcycles, flying airplanes, eating at the best restaurants, riding his donkey, Winona, and exploring every aspect of life. He was a HeartMath instructor, and started a health and wellness business called Thriving Energies where he touched so many lives by facilitating in their healing process through loving intentions and biosonic tuning fork repatterning. John's family was very important to him, and he was always interested to learn about their lives and rejoicing in their accomplishments. He was a devoted stepfather to his two stepchildren, Stephanie and Brandy and their families. He is survived by his brother Thomas (Virginia) Ravnik, and sister Barbara (Ravnik) Hoge; nieces Becky (Dale) Pemberton, Molly (Steve) Exsted; nephews Brent (Loni) Ravnik, John (Melissa) Hoge, Eric Hoge, Benedict (Bonnie) Hoge, Mark Hoge, and Michael (Paige Rivers) Hoge and several great-nieces, nephews, many cousins, and Uncle Tom Sabyan. John was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary, and brother-in-law, Paul Hoge. If you would like to honor and remember John, you may plant a tree, live life joyfully and daily tell your family and friends you love them. A Burial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19 at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.
