Judith Rae Carlson Obit

JUDITH RAE CARLSON, 76, of Spring Lake Park, died on May 11, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.  She was born in Crosby on May 26, 1945 to Wallace and Irene (Peddcoart) Hunt.
She lived in Crosby area until she retired in 2003 to Park Point in Duluth.  In 2013 she moved to Spring Lake Park to be closer to her son and daughter-in-law.  She married Lyle Carlson in 1972.  She was a devoted Sunday school teacher at the Crosby Assembly of God Church in Crosby for many years and also led Bible quiz teams.  She loved God more than anything and it brought her great joy to teach children about Jesus.  She was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her family.
Preceding her in death are her parents and four brothers, Neil, Gilbert “Gib”, Norman and Robert Hunt.
She is survived by her husband, Lyle; and her son and daughter-in-law, David and Heather Carlson of Fridley.  
A Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20 at the Bay Lake Cemetery in Bay Lake Township.  
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
