June Marie Rono Obit

JUNE MARIE RONO, 71, of Brainerd, died on May 14, 2024 at Essential St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. She was born on June 10, 1952 in St. Paul to Kenneth and June (Carlsen) Haaland. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband Roger Rono; one son, Michael Paul Rono and one brother, Kenneth Sanders Haaland. She is survived by four daughters, Krista Rono of Brainerd; Kamilla Rono of Glendive, MT; Jennifer Rono of Motley and Jolene (Soloman) Nganga of St. Cloud; one sister, Emily Gudim of North St. Paul and three grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be at the Crosby Memorial Park on Serpent Lake on Monday, June 10 from 3 to 7 p.m. The family asks that anyone who attends the memorial please wear bright, fun colors. The memorial is also pot luck and it would be appreciated if you can bring a dish she liked or that reminds you of her. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
