Laurene Alice Chapman Obit

LAURENE ALICE CHAPMAN, 103, of Crosby, formerly of Outing, died on Oct. 13, 2022, at the Pierz Villa in Pierz. She was born in Delhi on June 19, 1919 to Carl and Ida Swenson. She married Robert Chapman on June 16, 1939 in Fairfax.  She was a member of the Emily United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Robert “Bob” in 2012; one brother Robert Swenson and one sister, Edith Rowan. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Shelly  Chapman of Las Vegas, NV,  Paul and Barbara  Chapman of Bloomington  and Thomas and Mary  Chapman of Brooklyn Center; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Daniel Klement of Remer  and Margaret and Robert Peterson of Fort Meyers, FL; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21 at the Emily United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
