Lisa Marie Finnerty Obit

LISA MARIE FINNERTY, 55, of Crosby, died on July 18, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital.  She was born in Minneapolis on April 30, 1966 to Gerald and Gretchen (Fuller) Finnerty.  She graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 1984.  She received a BA degree in Physical Education and Health from the Bemidji State University. She was a former teacher in the Pequot Lakes School District and was a former Chemical Dependency Counselor for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe in Onamia. She had a passion for helping those in need.  She had a kind heart and a caring way in which she treated others. She is survived by her son, Casey Finnerty of Crosby; her parents, Jerry and Gretchen Finnerty of Aitkin; one brother, Jason Finnerty of Deerwood and one sister and brother-in-law, Krista and Bryan Jones of Cuyuna. Services have been held.   Arrangements were with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
