Lorraine "Lorri" I. Millam Obit

LORRAINE "LORRI" I. MILLAM, 80, of Brainerd, died on Sept. 17, 2021 at the Lakewood Heath System in Staples.  She was born on Nov. 30, 1940 in White Earth Township to Charles and Rosella (Norely) Durant.  She graduated from the Bagley High School, class of 1958. She was a contract postal carrier in the Crosby-Ironton area, was a local representative for Tupperware® and served as a local first responder for many years. She was owner and secretary for M&L Trucking in Brainerd. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Baxter.  She hosted the senior luncheons monthly at the church, as well as providing cakes for many area events.   Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Marvin; three brothers, Hubert “Huck”, Verne and Wayne Durant. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Chad and Denise Millam of Big Lake; Mindy and Tim Speldrich of Brainerd; Vindy and Darrell Pulak of Nisswa, Cindy and Roger Carlson of Brainerd; Sheree Davis of St. Petersburg, FL; Michael Millam of Williamsburg, VA and Jeff Millam of Brainerd; her sister, and brother-in-law Marlys and Buddy Merschman of Shevlin; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26 at the First Baptist Church in Baxter.  Burial will be at the Maple Grove Township Cemetery.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
