Marcella "Marcy" M. Stanich Obit

MARCELLA "MARCY" M. STANICH, 102, of Deerwood, died on Feb. 22, 2022 at Bethany Good Samaritan in Brainerd.  She was born in Brainerd on Jan. 18, 1920 to Joseph and Bertha (Rappel) Rasch.  She attended elementary school at St. Francis in Brainerd and graduated from Washington High, class of 1937.   She was a retired teller with Unity Bank in Crosby.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Gene; one son, Joe and two sisters, Katheryn Clough and Dorothy Weiss
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Dee Stanich of Ironton; daughter-in-law, Gwen Stanich of Minneapolis; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  
A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, May 23 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.
