Margaret "Peggy" Ann Beseman Obit

MARGAET "PEGGY" ANN BESEMAN, 79, of Aitkin, passed away at her home on July 22, 2026. She was born on May 13, 1947 in Crosby to Gustav and Ann (Lapp) Beseman.   Peggy was a retired Para-Professional serving the Brainerd School District #181 for 32 years.  She was a former Nursing Assistant with Cedarbrook Manor in Deerwood. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.   Peggy is survived by her daughter, Shelly Beseman of Aitkin; one grandchild, Taylor Scheidenberger of Indianapolis; her brother, Dan (Dee) Beseman of Ironton; and 16 nieces, nephews and many great-nieces and great- nephews. Preceding Peggy in death are her parents; three sisters, Joy Willford, Jackie Gordon and LaVerne Holmvig; one brother, Merlin Beseman; nephew, Steve Holmvig and niece, Linda Willford. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.   Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
