Marie L. Torgerson Obit

MARIE L. TORGERSON, age 102, of Crosby died on Aug. 24, 2020 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  She was born on Nov. 21, 1917 in Ironton to Edward and Laura (Markwardt) LaVictoire.  She  was a retired dispatcher for Crosby Police and Fire Departments.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby.  
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Henry; two daughters, Diana Torgerson and Ruth Anne Collins; one son, Daryl Torgerson; four brothers, Robert, Clement, Lawrence and Edward LaVictoire; and three sisters, Fern Downs, Dorothy Kaatz and Leona Baudette.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Joan Torgerson of Hill City; Henry and Gloria Torgerson of Aitkin and Joel and Virginia Torgerson of Crosby; son-in-law, Kenneth Collins of Aitkin; three daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Allan Lindblom of Stewart, Vicki Patrick and Christine and Harlan Miller all of Aitkin; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A family service is being planned.
