Marilyn Jean Landberg Obit

MARILYN JEAN LANDBERG,  87, of Delano, formerly of Crosby, died on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.  She was born June 28, 1934 to Emanuel “Murphy” and Alice (Erickson) Olsen in Minneapolis. She attended and graduated from Edison High School.  She went on to marry the love of her life Jack Landberg and to this union seven children were blessed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to collect antiques, read recipe books and cook for her family.  Her career was that of homemaker  and she was an active member of Crosby Antiques and Collectibles for 30 years. She was very involved in her community and her church.  She and her husband loved to travel and experience different cultures.   She was preceded in death by her husband Jack; sons Richard, John and Mike.  She is survived by her children and spouses  Robert and Diane  Landberg, Krister Willette, Jodell “Jody” and Greg  Gustafson, Andrea and Barry Anderson; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters Barbara Pearson, Annette Olson and Susan Mussell.   Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, St. Peter’s campus in Delano.  Gathering of family and friends will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the Mass in St. Martha’s Hall of the St. Peter’s Campus.  Inurnment will be in the Bay Lake Cemetery.
