Michael "Mike" Gutzman Obit

MICHAEL "MIKE" GUTZMAN, 77, Nov. 20, 2023. He was born April 12, 1946 in Brainerd to Albert and Marlys Gutzman.  He graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School and went on to Staples Area Voc-Tech School.  In 1966 he moved to Seattle, WA to work for The Boeing Company.  On May 10, 1968 he married Linda Hoglund and they raised two sons, Jay and Ronald. He had a great sense of humor and had a story for every situation. Fifteen years of Toastmasters enhanced his stories to everyone’s enjoyment.  He loved to hunt and fish and road trips.  Even though he had Muscular Dystrophy, it never held him back and he never complained. He loved to meet people and was a friend to all.  After 37 years at The Boeing Company, he retired and began his new passion of being a docent at the Museum of Flight.  He was so proud of his time there. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary.   He is survived by his wife Linda, sons and daughter-in-law Jay and Ron and Tata and six grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law Wayne and Joan and Squeak and Dianna and his nieces and nephews.   Services have been held.
