Patrick Anthony Larson Obit

PATRICK "PAT" ANTHONY LARSON, 72, of Ironton, passed away on Aug. 31, 2026, at United Hospital in St. Paul due to complications from diabetes. He was born on Sept. 8, 1953, in Aitkin to Bud and Lenore Larson. For the majority of his working years, he worked for his brother as a drywall hanger for Larson Drywall for many years and then later doing maintenance work for his brother and nephew with the rental business. He is survived by his daughter Anna Larson of St. Paul, step-daughter Sheila Bartel of Crosby, step-son Scott (Sarah) Maus of Watertown, MN, and ex-wife Marsha Larson of Crosby; sisters Jill (Larson) Abernathey of Duluth and Mavis Larson of LaQuinta, CA; brothers Rod Larson of Aitkin, Ronald Larson of Aitkin; nine grandchildren and many neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents, brothers Gary Larson, Leslie Larson and sisters LaVonne Smorong, Shirley Oberg and Madeline Duprey. He showed his love through acts of service and was generous with his time and money to those who needed his help. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17 from noon to 3 p.m. at Hallett Center in Crosby.
