Peggy Louise Hillman Obit

PEGGY LOUISE HILLMAN, 68, of Deerwood, passed away at her home on May 20, 2026. She was born on July 27, 1957 in Brainerd to Frank and Charlotte (Harnois) Haney. She was united in marriage to Gary Hillman on May 8, 1976, in Brainerd, enjoying their 50th anniversary this year.   She was a member of the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood. She had a love for gardening and sewing with her sewing group. She is survived by her husband, Gary; two sons, Zachary (Theresa) Hillman of Bovey and Jacob Hillman of St. Louis Park; her mother, Charlotte Haney of Abilene, TX; one brother, Larry (Mary) Haney of Abilene, TX; one sister, Patricia (Terry) Christle of Aitkin and two granddaughters. Preceding her in death is her father, Frank Haney. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, at the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood. A visitation will be held on Friday at the Cascade United Methodist Church from 4 to 7 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you plant daffodils in her memory. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
