Phyllis E. Flannigan obit

PHYLLIS E. FLANNIGAN, 89, of Crosby, died on Jan. 28, 2020 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on Feb. 8, 1930 in Alberta to Charles and Bertina (Larson) Tomoson. She was a retired employee of the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby with 22 years of service. She was a member of the Crosby Assembly of God Church, an auxiliary member of the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Post #557 of Deerwood, serving as Chaplain for several years. For many years she played the role as Mrs. Santa for the area.
Preceding her in death are her parents; one son, Mike; grandson; six brothers and one sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie (Jim Hann) Manske of Deerwood; Linda (Brock Flower) Flannigan of Crosby; one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Sarah Flannigan of Brainerd; daughter- in-law, Wendy Flannigan of Crosby; two brothers and sister-in-law, Clifford and Diane Tomoson of Alexandria and Ron (Mir’Iam Connelly) Tomoson of Gassville, AR; two sisters and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Bob Stier and Mary Scott all of Alexandria; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Crosby Assembly of God Church. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
