Richard "Dick" A. Mann Obit

RICHARD "DICK" A. MANN, 98, followed his dear wife Sally into his eternal home with Jesus on June 6, 2026, after a short bout with pneumonia. They spent their final years in Ohio, sharing joy with their five kids, 11 grandkids and 36 greatgrandkids, up to the end. Dick thoroughly enjoyed his productive career as a mining engineer, mainly on the Cuyuna and Mesabi Iron Ranges in Minnesota, and later in Cleveland, working on various international projects.   He retired from Pickands Mather to his much loved property on Rabbit Lake near Crosby, MN. Along with backing up his beloved wife of 72 years, Dick was an enthusiastic builder, gentleman farmer and rancher, award winning hunter, fisherman, devout believer, jail minister (Gideons), generous host, master storyteller, blessed provider and overall good citizen.   The family will gather later this summer for a private memorial service to celebrate Dick’s life.  In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Gideons in Dick’s name.
