Ricky Finseth Obit

RICKY D. FINSETH, 67, of Rabbit Lake Township died on Nov. 16, 2019 at his home following a brief battle with cancer. He was born on Jan. 2, 1952 in Preston to Donald and Alta (Richter) Finseth.  He was passionate about dairy farming and was an advocate for farmers and dairies across the Midwest during his long and successful career with Vigortone and Farmland companies. Most recently he served as the building maintenance manager for Deerwood Housing. An accomplished craftsman, he  had a tremendous talent for woodworking with an affinity for the beauty of hardwoods like oak and maple. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cedarbrook.
Preceding him in death are his parents and wife, Catherine Lillian Barber Finseth.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law,  Jennifer and Bryan Berwanger of Hartland, WI and Jessica and Matt Hehl of Reedsburg, WI; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwaine and Jeanne Finseth of Plano, TX and Gerald and Claudia Finseth of Rochester; one sister and brother-in-law, Aleta and Mark Christopherson of Austin, and three grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
