Robyn Kelly Gries Obit

ROBYN KELLY GRIES, 63, of Crosby passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2025. She was born on Oct. 6, 1961 in Mora.  Robyn was united in marriage to Marty Bjerkness on May 26, 2014, in Ironton. Robyn was a loving mother, staying at home with her two kids. Later in life, she went back to school to obtain her nursing degree, most recently working as an RN at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. She loved a good book, court TV, baking, chocolates, on-line shopping, and kitchen gadgets. Most of all, she loved Jesus. She was a good listener, fearless, strong, and loved helping others.   Robyn is survived by her husband, Marty; her father Joe (Judy) Gries of Crosby; her son, Cory Wolterstorff of Cottage Grove; her daughter, Lindsey Wolterstorff of St. Paul; her brother, Terry (Renee) Gries of Rogers; her sister, Patti (Mark) Anderson of Cape Coral, FL and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Robyn in death is her mother, Bonnie Gries.  She was so loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. We encourage everyone to wear pink to her service in memory of her love for the color pink.
