Ronald Simon Saba Obit

RONALD "RON" SIMON SABA, 90, of Warba formerly of Outing, passed away at his home  on March 14, 2025. He was born on Feb. 7, 1935 in St. Paul to Wolf and Sophia (George) Saba.  He was united in marriage to Marlene Langevin in St. Paul on Sept. 3, 1955. He was a retired employee of Gillette Corporation in St. Paul.  After moving to the Outing area, he became a rural mail carrier for the USPS, servicing the Outing/ Remer area for 20 years.  He was a member of St. Emily’s Catholic Church in Emily. He was a man of exemplary faith and took great joy in spending time with his family and serving his church. He is survived by one son, Ronald (Anita) Saba Jr. of Baxter; five daughters, Denise Micheln of Baxter, Julie Erickson of Red Wing, Janine (Curt) Hill of Warba, Therese Sizemore of Coon Rapids and Margaret Saba of Crosby; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife Marlene in 2017; his daughter, Patricia Saba; five brothers and five sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19 at St. Emily’s Catholic Church in Emily.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.   Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
