Rose Anne Stimac Obit

ROSE ANNE STIMAC, 80, of Brainerd, formerly of Ironton, died on Dec. 2 at Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin.  She was born on July 24, 1943 in Gouverneur, NY to Edward and Muriel (Hance) Barto.   She is survived by two sons, Jon “Goose” (Cory) Gutzman of Blaine; Brent  “Bubba” (Amy) Gutzman of Aitkin; two daughters, Lisa Gutzman of Crosby and Carla Miller (Bill Robbins) of Lindstrom; three step-children, Brett Stimac, Brandi Stimac Mahowald and Brian Stimac; one brother, Chuck Barto of North Berwick, ME; two sisters, Mary Dandrea of Clouquet and Sue Barto of Ironton; special friend, Don Nickel of Brainerd and will also be deeply missed by several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband James Stimac; one daughter, Nicole Gutzman; one brother, Edward Barto; great-grandson, and step-son, Blaine Stimac. A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery in Irondale Township.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
