RUBY CECELIA IVERSON, 92, of Emily, died on Jan. 29, 2025 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.  She was born on Jan. 26, 1933 in St. Paul to Huge and Pearl (Robertson) McSherry.  She was united in marriage with Donald Iverson in St. Paul on June 13, 1953. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Donald; one daughter, Peggy Iverson; and two brothers, Hugh McSherry, Jr. and Allen McSherry. She is survived by her son, Donald Iverson of Emily; two daughters and son-in-law, Rev. Dyan and Michael Dietz of Denton, TX and Theresa Russell of Emily; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Karen  McSherry of St. Paul; 10  grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 at the Wesleyan Church in Emily.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
