Thomas J. Burt Obit

THOMAS J. BURT, 90, of Bay Lake, died on Dec. 22, 2020. He was born on Sept. 22, 1930 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Howard and Lenore Burt. Tom was a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran. He was employed with Electoral Jobbers Equipment Inc. with 40 years of service, serving as the president of the company when he retired.  He was a life member of the North Central Electric League; past president of the Minneapolis Engineer’s Club, and a past member and treasurer of the Bay Lake Area Lions Club.
Preceding Tom in death are his parents, his wife, Barbara and his sister, Colleen.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Ann Burt of Minneapolis, his son, John Burt of Colorado; and his grandson, Andrew Burt of Toronto, Canada.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 at the Bay Lake Township Cemetery with full military honors given by the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Post #557 of Deerwood.  
Arrangement are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
