Virginia Prushek Obit

VIRGINIA PRUSHEK, 87, of Crosby, died on Aug. 31, 2022 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born in Tyrrell County, NC on Dec. 26, 1934 to Ernest and Birdie (Bass) Vanderberry. She  married Arnold Prushek on Aug. 8, 1954 in Norfolk, VA. Together with her husband Arnie they owned and operated Prushek Plumbing and Heating. She was an auxiliary member of the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Arnold; and son-in-law, Keven Kelley. She is survived by one son, Ron (Teri) Prushek of Crosby; two daughters, Leeann Kelley (Brad Hanson) of Crosby and Kathy (Bill) Laughton of Cuyuna; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at  Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 23 at Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
