Virtual Music in the Park June 25

Over the past 13 years, Music in the Park has been a much-anticipated event to kickoff summertime in the Cuyuna Lakes area with great music, food and activities for people of all ages to enjoy. Due to unforeseen challenges related to COVID19, the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber is unable to hold the in-person event at Crosby Memorial Park on Serpent Lake this year. That is why it is adapting to hold the event virtually in 2020, so the Music in the Park audience can still enjoy a high-quality, local musical experience from the safety of their electronic device.
Cuyuna Lakes Chamber’s Virtual Music in the Park is a free, family-friendly video concert series. On the second and fourth Thursdays in June, July and August, virtual performances featuring area artists will be posted to the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook and YouTube pages, and Web site (www.cuyunalakes.com). Watch from your phone, tablet or computer, or connect to Bluetooth radio or television.
The Tangled Chords will be performing Thursday, June 25. They are a classic rock cover band, with a lighter side. They play songs that are fun to play and hear, but keep the volume at a level that promotes family and friend conversation at the table. Their blend of rock and roll from the 1950s to the late 1990s includes fan favorites from Elvis, Credence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bryan Adams, and Kenny Wayne Sheppard – just to name a few. They take each song and make it their own, resulting in a uniqueness that you’ll be sure to enjoy. They also mix in a few of their original compositions to add to the fun.
