Vivian "Oney" Ione Gibeaut Obit

VIVIAN "ONEY" IONE GIBEAUT, 90, of Crosby, formerly of Deerwood, passed away peacefully on Sept. 24, 2023 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  She was born on May 28, 1933 in Deerwood Township to Christian and Aurora (Olson) Brager.  Vivian was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Crosby.
In 1977 she met Forrest “Forrie” Gibeaut, and they wed on May 6, 1978. They had 34 wonderful years together before Forrie was called to Heaven in 2012. Oney had a genuine smile, she was very kind and a true JOY to be around. Oney lived for the Lord and was deep in her Faith. She also had a profound love for her late husband, Forrie, and her family.
Preceding Vivian in death are her parents; her loving husband, Forrest; three brothers, Bud, James and Lorne Brager; brother-in-law, Myron Price; sister-in-law, Joyce Brager; nephews, Harley Brager, Jerome Price, Kevin Brager and Warren Brager and great-great niece, Taylor Grace Nguyen.
Oney is survived by sisters, Lois Price, Sharon Atwood; brother and sister-in-law, Gene  and Lillie Brager; sisters-in-law, Betty and Betty Brager; great-niece, Shana (husband, Craig and daughter, Karlie) Nguyen and many other nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Assembly of God Church, Crosby (Cuyuna Lakes Community Church, Crosby).  Oney will be laid to rest at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
