Wade William Metsa Obit

WADE WILLIAM METSA, 56, of St. Louis Park, died at his home on June 23, 2021. He was born on Dec. 20, 1964 in Minneapolis to John and Lura Metsa. He graduated from Jefferson High, class of 1983, in Bloomington. He served in the Army as a part of the 82d Airborne Division. He was an avid photographer and loved to see his life behind a lens. He enjoyed traveling and cooking. Deer camp at the family land was a tradition in which he also loved to partake. He previously worked in construction, maintenance, and retail. Some of his employers include; Welsh, Target, and Mac’s Roll Off. His life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. He brought so much joy to our family and those around him. He will be remembered most for his humor, kindness, and selflessness.  He is proceeded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and other extended family. He is survived by his brothers; Curtis Metsa and Brent Metsa, nephew, niece, great-nephew, great-neice, god-daughter and friends. In place of a funeral there will be a celebration of life on August 22nd, 2021 from 12-3pm at the Bridge Tavern outside Crosby.
