Wayne Berry, Jr. Obit

WAYNE JACKSON BERRY, JR. entered into the loving presence of the Lord on Jan.16, 2025, at age 56. Wayne was born to Wayne "Jack" and Shirley Berry on Sept. 4, 1968, in Brainerd. As a child, Wayne loved the outdoors and continued through his life as an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman; never missing an opportunity to share his stories and experiences with others. His artistical talents were second to none, often being admired by his school art instructor, who attempted to convince him to have one of his drawings sent in to be considered as an option for the Federal Duck Stamp. Despite her encouragement, Wayne declined the opportunity, as his humble nature needed no notoriety. On March 20, 1990, Wayne welcomed his only child, Kayla Jo, who made him a proud grandpa to Tristan Helmer. In addition to being a dedicated father and grandfather, he will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and great-uncle. He is survived by his parents, Jack and Shirley Berry; daughter, Kayla Jo Berry; grandson, Tristan Helmer; sisters, Billie Jo Berry and Debbie Toth; nephews, Gary Gutzman, Jake and Justin Toth; nieces, Ashley DeChaine and Eve Gutzman; and great-nieces, Annabella Gutzman and Grace Toth; among many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is reunited in Heaven with grandparents, Charles and Viola Berry, Martin and Dorothy Olson; and several aunts and uncles.
