Larry Scofield obit

LARRY DEAN SCOFIELD, 76, of Aitkin, passed away on July 7, 2019, at his residence. He was born July 17, 1942, in Cass County. Larry graduated from Winnebago High School. He married Sandra Shea on Nov. 4, 1959, and they raised five children together. They lived in Winnebago until 1978 when they moved to the Aitkin area.
Before leaving the Winnebago area, Larry farmed grain, raised livestock and had a drainage business. After moving to Aitkin, Larry still farmed and did land development. He also managed grain/ rice farms and a tree nursery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nellie Scofield of Winnebago; wife, Sandra; brother, Richard; grandson, Jobe Flower; grandson-in-law, Larry Phillips; and great-granddaughter, Kaeleigh Lewis.
Larry is survived by his children: Deb and Randy Kahn of Cook; Tony and Lisa Scofield of Box Elder, SD; Geri and Kendall Johnson of Crosby; Bernie Scofield and Mark Pirner of Aitkin; Jacki and Jeff Rinta of Aitkin; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sisters, Charlene Stebritz of Sioux Falls, SD; Shirley (Pete) Haight of Winnebago; and sister-in-law, Joyce Scofield of Winnebago.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 12 at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River. Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kline Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Friday.
