John R. Thellin II Obit

JOHN R. THELLIN II, 70, died Aug. 23, 2019 at his home in Trinity, TX. He was born April 29, 1949 in Crosby at Miners’ Hospital to John and Alice Thellin.
He was a journeyman machinest for 46 years and owned his own shop in Houston, TX. He loved to work with his hands. He was a volunteer for the Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston. Thellin held over 200 patents for motorcycle parts.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, the former Glenda K. Templeton.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John R. Thellin III and wife Brandie; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Larry Smude of Brainerd and Janice and Kenneth Perry of Brainerd and one brother and sister-in-law, Vincent and Teresa Thellin of Big Lake.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
