Scott Kevin Wikstrom Obit

SCOTT KEVIN WIKSTROM, 54, of Crookston, died at his residence on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019.  
He was born at St. Paul,  on April 18, 1965 to Mable Yost. He was raised by Allan and Mable (Yost) Wikstrom, Sr. at Emily and received his education in nearby Crosby,  schools.
As a young man he enjoyed great success as a weight- lifter while winning titles at several competitions. He was featured in several issues of “Muscle and Fitness” magazine. During his teen years he liked to snowmobile with his sister, Dorie, as they would ride their sleds for hours on the area trails. He was employed as a construction worker in Brainerd for most of his working career. He then moved to the Twin Cities and from there to Crookston in 2015. He enjoyed spending time with his sister, Robin, and friends; watching television shows and movies, going for drives with Robin, and going out to eat.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mable Wikstrom.
He is survived by his step-father and step-mother, Allan and Phyllis Wikstrom, Sr. of Baxter; three siblings, Dorie Gill of Webster, WI, Robin Rosga of Crookston and Allan Wikstrom, Jr. of Brainerd; and several aunts and uncles. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins and friends.
