ECTC offers Password Management Seminar

ECTC and Crosslake Communications are offering a seminar on Password Manager on Tuesday, March 10 at 10 a.m. at the Crosslake Community Center. This is a free Technology seminar.
It seems like no matter what you do online, you need to create an account and a secure password. Sometimes the passwords are so involved as far as special characters, numbers and letters, it is getting hard to remember what they are or were. In March we are going to dive into this problem and make this process a lot easier and a lot more secure.  Being online is as risky as ever and will likely continue in that trend as technology grows. We will be looking at password storing options, focusing on LastPass that could change the way you surf the web forever. Feel free to bring in your computer as we will be doing a walk through of setting you up for LastPass. 
The best online protection is knowledge and we hope to provide you with a lot of education on passwords and how hackers are able to crack into accounts due to poor password construction.
