Donna Peterson Obit

DONNA M. PETERSON, 85, of Edgewood Vista Assisted Living in Brainerd, died Dec. 13, 2020. Born Sept. 1, 1935 in Swatara to Elmer and Alice (Parker) Olds, she married Charles A. Peterson on Jan. 10, 1955 in Cadott, WI.
She worked many, many years in Crosby at Our Own Hardware then Coast-to-Coast (later named True Valu). She was known as the local "Hardware Queen" and the preferred 'go-to' for all your hardware needs! After retiring from work, she kept herself busy with the Cuyuna Range Elementary School   adopt-a-grandparent program, crocheting,  gardening and walking.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, all but one of her siblings, son Michael, great-granddaughter and great-great-grandchild.
She is survived by daughters and son-in-law Rhonda Swehla of Crosby; Dawn Searle of Warroad and Tamara and Randall Price of Deerwood; brother Robert Olds of Prineville, OR, six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
