Melisa Marie Hardesty Obit

MELISA MARIE HARDESTY, 47 of Havre, MT, formerly of Crosby, died on April 6, 2021 at the Benefis Health System in Great Falls, MT.  She was born on Sept. 27, 1973 in Coon Rapids.  Melisa was a Crosby-Ironton High graduate and received an LPN degree from Central Lake College in Brainerd.   She was a former nurse at the Brainerd State Hospital, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby and Almost Home Assisted Living in Brainerd.
Melisa is survived by her husband, Michael; one daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and Dakota Kelm of Trommald; her parents, Tim and Cheryl Kostal of Deerwood; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Alicia Kostal of Granville, ND; two sisters, Katie (Patrick Radtke) Kostal and Kathy (Alesha Meyer) Kostal both of Crosby; two step brothers, Justin Kittleson and Josh Small; maternal grandmother, Alice Bouley of Champlain; mother-in-law, Janice Hardesty of Brainerd; grandmother-in-law, Bernice Brogren of Ulen; and five grandchildren, Brielle and Baylee Bergson, Makiyah, Ashton and Nanazbah Hardesty.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17 at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  A Memorial Gathering will follow at the Deerwood Auditorium from noon until 3 p.m.
