Scott Thomas Johnson Obit

SCOTT THOMAS JOHNSON of Crosby passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born in Crosby on Jan. 6, 1947 to Pat and Eva (Sanderson) Johnson.   Scott enlisted in the United States Navy, completed carpentry school, and worked for Inland Steel mining company. He also was employed by Scorpion Snowmobile. Scott thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and anything and everything outdoors. Preceding Scott in death are his parents, Pat and Eva Johnson; his wife Cheryl (Thomas) Johnson and brother’s Jack, Grant and James Johnson. He is survived by his sisters, Linda Hanson, Onalaska, WA, and Kay (Gregory) Jarvela, Deerwood; daughters Alicia Brown of Crosby, Andrea Smith of Brainerd, and Brittnee (Sam) Olson of Bloomington; Grandchildren Cadence, Briana and Madison; two step-daughters; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Aug. 6 at 1 p.m. at Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. A luncheon will be held at the Ironton Ameri-can Legion following the service.
