Robert "Bob" Kuschel Obit

ROBERT "BOB" KUSCHEL, 68, of Ironton, died on Aug. 2, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital.  He was born on March 14, 1953 in Brainerd to Richard and Violet (Nordin) Kuschel.  He married Cindra Yaple on Aug. 4, 1979 in Prior Lake.  He was a retired Crosby-Ironton High School teacher, teaching chemistry, physics and 9th grade science.  He gave over 30 years of service.  He was a long-time Crosby-Ironton 9th grade basketball coach;  a Mississippi Head Water Board Person; was involved with Cuyuna Range Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, Muskies Inc., Brainerd Lakes Chapter, and was a founding member of the Cuyuna Range Recreation Area Board.  He was a very passionate outdoorsman; he loved to hunt, fish, rice harvest and trap. Preceding him in death is his father, Richard Kuschel. He is survived by his wife Cindy; his sons and daughter-in-law, Reid Kuschel of Ironton and Ryan and Brittany Kuschel of Cloquet; his mother, Vi Kuschel of Crosby; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Nosara  Kuschel of Effy, Ron and Kay Kuschel of Dunnellon, FL and Ray Kuschel of Crosby; one sister Linda Kuschel of Crosby; one grandchild and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering has been held. Arrangements were with Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
