Ruth Ann Exsted Obit

RUTH ANN EXSTED, 73 of Brainerd, died on Aug. 6, 2021 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.  She was born in Helen Township on March 4, 1948 to Benjamin and Jenella (Adams) Rolf.  Ruth Ann married Robert Exsted on Oct. 14, 1967 in Glencoe.  She was a retired employee of the Crosby-Ironton Courier, and was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.   Ruth Ann is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim  and Trish Exsted of Brainerd, Dan and Deb Exsted of Deerwood and Steve and Molly Exsted of Monticello; one sister, Faye Miller of Brownton; five brothers-in-law and their spouses, Richard and Chris Exsted, Randall and Sue Exsted, Dale and Sandy Exsted, Doug Exsted and Dean  and Lynn Exsted; and six grandchildren; Madisen, Sophia, Beau, Jake, Cole and Vivian. Preceding Ruth Ann in death are her parents; her husband Bob in 2004; and one brother David Rolf. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  A visitation will be held at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
