Richard Gordon Christensen Obit

RICHARD GORDON CHRISTENSEN, 67, died July 30, 2021 at Highland Chateau in St. Paul. He was born April 4, 1954 in Crosby to Abel and Sarah (Talbot) Christensen. He enlisted in the Marines when he was just 17 years old but after a short time he was honorably discharged for medical reasons He is preceded in death by his parents and half-brothers Don and Ted Christensen. He is survived by a   daughter Jessi Christensen of Loma, CO; son William Abel Christensen of Grandbury, TX; a sister Elizabeth “Betty” Haag of Vadnais Heights; a half-sister Donna Gaunitz of Bloomington and half-brother Jim Christensen of Melstone, MT and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at Fort Snelling on Oct. 19.
