Dayna Jane (Hoppe) Richards Obit

DAYNA JANE (HOPPE) RICHARDS, 58, left us all too soon. She passed away July 27, 2022 from Crohn's disease and liver failure. She was born Nov. 24, 1963 to Edwin “Dan” Hoppe and Colleen (Neutzling) Hoppe in St. Cloud.  She graduated from Crosby- Ironton High School in 1982 and shortly  after she spent 16 years in Florida, before moving back to Minnesota in 2001 after the passing of her mother. Some of her favorite things were gardening, camping, being on the water, (be it lake or ocean), watching wildlife and her beloved dogs and cats. She leaves behind her father, Dan, sisters Gina and Maria and their families, and her companion Dave Shogren. Proceeding Dayna in death are her mother, Colleen, her spouse, Joseph Richards, other relatives and loving friends and her two cherished labs Marina and Breezy. A celebration of life will be held at Mission Park in Merrifield Friday, Aug. 26 from noon to 4 p.m.
