Barbara "Barb" Kaye Larson (Craven)
BARBARA KAYE LARSON (Craven), 77, of Minnetonka, died on Aug. 5, 2022 after a brief but fierce battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Minneapolis and graduated from Waconia High School. She spent her professional career in the “people business.” She was proud to serve customers at the King’s Inn in St. Louis Park for more than a decade. Later in life, Barb and Todd became successful entrepreneurs. For nearly 25 years they owned and operated The Hallett Antique Emporium and Abbey House Antiques in Crosby. They were instrumental in having Crosby named the “Antiques Capital of the World” later changed to “Antiques Captial of the Lakes Area.” She is preceded in death by her husband, Todd Craven, Sr. and her parents Arago and Lucille Larson. She is survived by her beloved family, children Anastasia (Tim) Benz, Kelly (Steve) Stattman, Geoffrey Todd (Sue) Craven Jr. and Nicolle (Alex) Sellers IV, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her brother Jon (Karen) Larson and a nephew and niece Services have been held. Memorials preferred to Minnesota Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association of Minnesota-North Dakota.
