Stephen Raba Obit

STEPHEN RABA, 70, of St. Paul, died Oct. 24, 2022 at his home. Steve spent the past 30 years owning and operating a small lawn care business in the St. Paul area with his son, Ben. He had a very artistic and mechanical minded and possessed many talents and interests such as woodworking, leather working, farming, and fixing all types of machinery. He was an avid gun and knife collector and he was passionate about politics, history, classic movies, vintage cars and music. In the summertime he could often be found listening to his extensive music collection at full volume while tinkering in the garage. He will be greatly missed by friends, family, and neighbors. He is preceded in death by: his wife Lynn (Johnson) Raba with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage before her passing in 2020 and his son Benjamin Raba. He is survived by his brothers Joel and Amby Raba, his son, Carl Raba, granddaughters Sahvanna (Raba) Best and Sierra Bednarczyk, great-granddaughter Marley Parker and many beloved extended family members. Services will be at a later date.
