Sally Joanne Mathewson Obit

SALLY JOANNE MATHEWSON, 67, of Motley, died Nov. 17, 2022 while skydiving. She was born May 11, 1955 in Illinois to John and Ruth (Button) Smrt. Sally married Scott Mathewson Aug. 22, 2002. Sally enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, cooking, sewing, bow hunting, fishing, riding motorcycle, and going to coffee at the Stomping Grounds in Staples. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Smrt and three brothers Jerry, Tom, and John Smrt. She is survived by two children, Casey Oreskovich (Jamie Kloss), of Brainerd and Josef Oreskovich, Minneapolis and one grandson, Alex Oreskovich. No services are planned. Her ashes are to be scattered across the United States.
