George A. Ramsey Obit

GEORGE A. RAMSEY “Papa”, 86, Baxter, formerly of Crosby, passed away peacefully on Sept. 2, 2023 at Essentia Health surrounded by his family.
George was born on July 20, 1937 in St. Paul  to George and Antionette (Praxes – Kruszewsk) Ramsey. On June 22, 1957, he married Virginia Summers and in 1966 they moved to Crosby.
George enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and traveling with his sweetheart. He could be found in one of his many gardens, feeding the birds or tinkering in the garage. George worked at Scorpion, Empire Clock, Glenwood Parts Maker, and Acrometal/ 3M.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill and Bob; sisters, Mary and Jackie; and grandson Andrew.
George is survived by his loving wife Virginia; daughters, Kathy Paulson of Baxter and Roxanne Vergin of Willmar; granddaughters, Sashanna O’Shea (Scott) of Baxter, Traci Paulson (Jon Milo) of Brainerd; six great grandchildren; sisters, Georgette (Chic) Blanchette of Crosby  and Elizabeth Smith of Wisconsin.
Services have been held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
