Mary Judith Garcia Obit

MARY JUDITH GARCIA, 71, of Crosby, died on Oct. 5, 2023 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.  She was born on March 15, 1952 in Crosby to Martin and Jean (Stockard) Kertzman.  She was a local cook working with the Emily Café, Camp Knutson and the Emily School.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Justiliano Garcia; one daughter, Gina Fletcher and one sister, Patricia Dobbs.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Justin and Kayla Garcia of St. Cloud and Felix and Julie Garcia of Des Moines, IA; two brothers and sister-in-law, David and Katy Kertzmann of Emily and Tim Kertzman of Emily; one sister and brother-in-law Susan and John Carrol of Seattle, WA; and three grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13 at St. Emily’s Catholic Church in Emily.  Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
