Raymond Lasher Obit

RAYMOND LASHER, 80, of Garrison, died Nov. 27, 2023. He was born on Jan. 12, 1943, to Kenneth and Shirley (Scott) Lasher in Anticoch, CA. He served in the Navy from 1961-1965 and served two terms in Vietnam. He was very proud of his 30-plus years of sobriety. He enjoyed helping others on their sobriety journey throughout the years as well. He worked for 31 years as a taxidermist and was a commander at the Garrison VFW. He had a love for riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He will be remembered by all for his kindness and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Carol. He is survived by his children Paul (Cherri) Lasher, Clint Lasher, Melanie (Chad) Wgeishofski, and Amy (Todd) Carlson; 26 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters Diania Townsend and Joan (Orrin) Tutt.   Arrangements have been entrusted with the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
