Barbara Marie Crooks Obit

BARBARA MARIE CROOKS, 90, of Deerwood, passed away on July 22, 2024 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.   She was born in Brainerd on Dec. 15, 1933 to Alton and Ellen (Gorden) Niles.  Barbara married Rodney Loren Crooks on June 18, 1955 in Crosby.  She was owner and operator of the Country Pump Antiques in Deerwood and was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Preceding Barbara in death are her parents; her husband, Rodney and one brother, James Niles. Barbara is survived by her son, Timothy Crooks of San Jose, CA; her daughter, Nan Mijares of Carlsbad, CA; and two grandchildren, Maya and Ania Mijares. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
