Herb Layton Peske Obit

HERBERT "HERB" LAYTON PESKE, 83, of Ironton, passed away on Feb. 18, 2025 at his home. He was born on Sept. 19, 1941 in Waterloo, IA to August and Helen (Britzman) Peske. He farmed for many years in Raymond, IA; was a former owner of the Seguchie Resort on Mille Lacs Lake and was a long-time employee of Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife Patricia and one brother, Alfred Peske. He is survived by one sister, Carol Smith of Cedar Falls, IA. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 23 at the Bible Baptist Church in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Burial will be at the Lawn Cemetery in Boxholm, IA.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
