JoAnn Mary Lindroth Obit

It is with great sadness that the family of JoAnn Mary Lindroth announces her passing at her home in Savannah GA. on March 14, 2025 at age 92. Born on Dec. 28, 1932 to loving  parents Lester and Amy Thoms in Crosby,  Minnesota. JoAnn spent many wonderful years married to the love of her life Arthur D. Lindroth. She was a busy mother raising five children while supporting her husband’s naval career. JoAnn is survived by Sons Gary Lindroth (Diane) Savannah, GA, Joel Lindroth (Nok) Fernley, NV. Daughters Nancy Christensen, Little Falls and Deborah Lindroth, Brainerd   Also survived by JoAnn are her 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and sister Sharon Norton. Waiting for her at  Heaven’s gate were her husband  Arthur D Lindroth,  daughter Sheryl Barnett Otterson, Parents Lester and Amy Thoms, brother Larry, sister Marlys, sister-in-law Nancy and brothers-in-law, Webb and Joseph. Two grandsons Jeremy Lindroth and Jonathan Dwyer. Having raised her five children for many years as a Navy wife she went on to continue her education becoming a Registered Nurse. After moving back to Minnesota from California, JoAnn along with her husband Art, purchased a resort on Lower South Long Lake where many families were able to create lifetime memories. Funeral Services are planned for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at the Minnesota Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
