Renee Ann Gilmer Obit

RENEE ANN GILMER, 82, of Aitkin, passed away on March 29, 2025 at Golden Horizons in Aitkin.  She was born on March 15, 1943 in Crosby to Douglas and Ethel (Harms) Abear. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran in Deerwood. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband Claude Gilmer and one brother, Dale Abear. She is survived by her son, Michael (Jamie) Bodle of Deerwood; her daughters, Sheryl (Dan) Lindberg of Aitkin and Tamie (Kurt) Mueller of Lakeville; one brother, Terry Abear of Deerwood; one sister, Sue (Rick) Johnson of Deerwood; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.  Burial will be at the Scandia Cemetery in Deerwood.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
