Greg Duane Bodle Obit

GREG DUANE BODLE, 52, of Big Lake, previously of Nashwauk, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, surrounded by his family. Greg was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, longtime employee of C.H. Robinson for the past 16 years.  He spent his free time either fishing with his son and fishing buddies or traveling the country side on his Harley looking for the best ice cream shops. In the winter he loved being at the hockey arena cheering his son on or watching the Minnesota Vikings. Greg had a huge heart and would make small talk and make new friends wherever he went. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Arthur and Viola Bodle and Loney and Evelyn James. He will be deeply missed by his life partner, Sara Von Wahlde; their son, Wyatt Bodle; parents, Patrick and Kayleen Bodle; sister, Rhonda Bodle; niece and nephew, Chloe and Matthew; many relatives, good friends, and colleagues. Per his wishes, private family services will be held. Private interment at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls. A Celebration of Life to remember Greg will be held on Saturday, May 31 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Brainerd VFW at 309 South Sixth Street, Brainerd, MN 56401.
