Gary Lloyd Gabel Obit
GARY LLOYD GABEL, 82, of Ankeny, IA, passed away Nov. 18, 2025, with his loving family at his side. Gabel has been a part-time resident of Washburn Lake for over 80 years. His family is one of the orginal “founders” of Iowa Camp. He and his wife, Sue, have spent their post-retirement summers relaxing at the cabin. He loved nature, fishing, photography, chatting with friends and just “watching the lake move.” A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
