Barbara Anne Kielty Obit

BARBARA ANNE KIELTY, 91, of Brainerd, passed away at her home on July 3, 2026. She was a strong but gentle wife and mother who was an integral part of everyone’s life. She was active and lived life to the fullest.  Her passion was her church and family along with her love for the Minnesota Gophers and Twins.  She loved volunteering at the church and delivering meals for Meals on Wheels.   Barbara is survived by her eight children; Daniel (Chrissy), Theresa Gade (Richard), Steven (Mary), Patrick, Michael (Beth), Paul (Christine), Suzanne, Michele Hutton (David). She was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren along with many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Barbara in death are her husband Kenneth in 2018 and granddaughter, Samantha. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.  A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a visitation. Burial will be at the Scandia Cemetery in Deerwood.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
